  1. love the variety of your cards although i’m drawn towards anything with animals or flowers. i’m retired and for 7yrs have been doing parchment cards but can’t do them fast enough for family and friends so i would like to try decoupage but not that confident as i have cd’s for this type of card but don’t know what sort of paper or card to use to print the toppers ect out on. what would or do you use. photo paper seems to glossy.
i have just brought my first magazinecraft seller and saw your article which made me want to look you up. well done. Pat

  2. Hi Pat and thanks for the lovely comments.

I don’t do very much decoupage as I find it a bit fiddly. I find I buy decoupage kits as I don’t do any cd crafting at all. I’ve been to my local docrafts stockist for Papermania products and I also like the HunkyDory sets too. They do quite a lot of animals and flowers. When I do print anything out from the computer I use either ordinary printer paper (not ideal when doing pictures though) or thicker weight paper that will go through my printer – I’ve found a print pack on Create and Craft that works well and comes in a variety of colours too. I haven’t used photo paper as, like you, I find it too glossy. Hope that helps. E-mail me if I can help further. Happy crafting, Kath x
